Thurston View Cottage is an old, stone miner's cottage which has magnificent views across Coniston Village and the Lake to the Grizedale Forest. The centre of the village is only a few minutes walk away. The cottage has been subject to a thourogh but sympathetic renovation resulting in a comfortable layout with a lounge, dining kitchen and utility room downstairs and two double bedrooms and a fully tiled bathroom upstairs. To the front of the property is a small terraced garden with garden table and chairs.

It retains much of the character of the original building; the imaginatively designed interior is unexpectedly light and spacious. Originally an attractive Grade II listed Georgian barn, "Grange End Cottage" is a holiday home brimming full of character and charm - exposed beams, solid tree-trunks for ceiling supports, mullion surround windows with wood panelled window seats, ancient thick walls, exposed stone work, bygones and antiques, a 4 poster bed, and of course, a roaring log fire. Even the original owl holes have been retained.

Two lovely big houses in their own little hamlet just two miles from Keswick in the heart of the Lake District. Sleep four to twelve, or twenty if you take two properties. Fabulous views, large private gardens. Each house has a large kitchen , two reception rooms and two bathrooms. Central heating, coal fires, and all costs included in the price. Pets and children welcome. Keswick has everything a visitor could need, -good shops, a theatre, a cinema, lots of friendly pubs. Lake Derwentwater offers boating, sailing, canoeing etc, and the whole area is full of walks of every degree.
Fell House is a beautifully converted grain warehouse, located in the centre of Sedbergh, a very small market town in Cumbria. The House sleeps 6/8 and contains the most spacious living areas within the property and allows a large party to socialise together. Nearby are good pubs and resturants within easy walking distance. The Howgill Fells are within easy walk of Fell House. Unfortunately we cannot accept pets and Fell House is a no-smoking property.
