The Granary, Long Buckby, Daventry, Northamptonshire.

The Granary was originally used to store grain harvested on the farm either for use in breadmaking or feeding to livestock before being converted to the accomodation available today. Built of Northamptonshire sandstone with walls two feet thick, and original beams, this property offers luxury facilities on two floors. The Granary sleeps five, with en-suite facilities to the master bedroom. The fixtures and fittings are all selected with care, and the cottage has a four star rating from the English Tourist Board. Downstairs there is a large lounge / dinning area, kitchen, cloack room and shower room all on the ground floor. Ample parking is available at the front of the property, with a patio at the rear, ideal for bar-b-ques on warm summer nights. The cottage is situated upon our working farm in rural Northamptonshire. It is surrounded by fields where farm animals thrive. Visitors are encoraged to talk to farm staff and see what is happening during their stay.

The Coach House, Long Buckby, Daventry, Northamptonshire.

The Coach House name reflects the original use of this range of buildings. Horse trnsport featured prominantly in the history of the farm and that fact is reflected in the property today. The original Coachman's fire place has been replaced by a woodburning stove and we will provide you with wood from the farm for warm cosy evenings. Built on one level, this cottage has been tastfully converted keeping many original features and oak beams. The Coach House sleeps five, with en suite facilllities to both bedrooms. There is a large lounge / dinning room, which opens out onto a patio. Ample parking is available at the front of the property. A safe children's play area is provided in view of the cottage. Private coarse fishing is available on the farm in two well stocked ponds. The cottage is situated on our working farm, and visitors can walk our footpaths to enjoy nature at its best'. Farm staff are pleased to explain what is happening on the farm to our visitors.
