Heron View Heron View is in the grounds of our 16th Century, Grade II listed thatched cottage, 1/4 mile across the River Arrow from the Roman town of Alcester. Built to the highest standards, this delightful modern cottage is centrally heated and offers every comfort. Both lounge and bedroom have colour televisions. There is a video recorder, CD player and a wide selection of CD's and videos for your enjoyment.

The pretty landscaped gardens lead down to the River Arrow. Here is a landing stage - ideal if you wish to do some fishing (we will lend you the gear) - otherwise just enjoy the landscape and the visiting swans, with an ice cold drink from the fridge in the 'fishing lodge'.

Interior		   On wet or cold days, the garden can still be enjoyed from the shelter of the delightful Mediterranean room which is furnished with cane seating and an abundance of exciting books and music.

Out and About:
  Heron View in Oversley Green is a 10 minute walk from the Roman town of Alcester with its abundance of historic buildings including the beautiful ancient St Nicholas Church, and many pubs. Nearby is Ragley Hall and just 3 miles out of Alcester is Coughton Court, famous for its connection with the Gunpowder Plot and also the link with Mary Queen of Scots.  
Out & about
  Keen walkers will appreciate the local countryside and nearby Oversley Woods. There are many National Trust properties including Hidcote Gardens all within an easy drive of Heron View. Whether it be a romantic break or a 'culture holiday' taking in a trip to the Royal Shakespeare Company at Stratford, Heron View will not disappoint.
