We are just three hours from London and the Midlands, being a short and easy drive from the A38 link road between Exeter and Plymouth. A marvellous array of wonderful countryside surrounds us including the majestic Dartmoor National Park, which is on our doorstep. Within 30 minutes are superb sandy beaches with spectacular coastline. The South Hams is designated an area of outstanding natural beauty. As we are centrally located to the whole of the South Devon area we offer an ideal base for those looking for somewhere to relax while on days out they can explore the enormous variety of countryside and places of interest that can be found throughout the region. Within the village of Rattery itself and a pleasant walk from the farm, via either the footpath or the country lanes, is one of the oldest pubs in England. The 'Church House Inn' dates back to 1028 and offers an excellent menu for eating out, lunchtime or evening (including an area for those with children). A never-ending choice of other high quality pubs and restaurants are within a short driving distance. The area offers a wide range of things to do for all ages with steam trains, boat trips, local fishing, riding, golf courses, superb walking country and numerous fun places to go with the children.
