The open plan design provides a lounge area with a deep bay conservatory style window looking onto the rear garden. Here, there are two comfortable wing chairs, a bookcase, pay telephone and 21 Panasonic TV with video reorder and Nokia satellite system with Sky film and Sports channels. There is also a dining table which seats two people.
The bedroom area offers a 46 divan bed with 4 drawers, pine bedside chests and bedside lamps. The new farmhouse pine kitchenette has a fridge, Stoves oven and 4-ring hob (including 2 halogen hobs), an extractor hood, a microwave, toaster and kettle. Leading from the kitchenette, (separated by a door) a passage with a built-in wardrobe leads to the new shower room.
Ground Floor: Large Kitchen with breakfast bar, oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine/tumble dryer, microwave, drying cupboard, huge living/dining room with pine dining suite and sideboard, comfortable sofas, and chairs, TV & Video (with Sky film and sports channels), micro hi-fi system, separate sitting room with two folding beds and TV.
Upper Floor: One double bedded room with portable TV and en-suite shower room, additional double bedded room, two twin bedded rooms and two bathrooms. |

Ten minutes drive away, via Red Bank, or a 45 minute walk, is the famous village of Grasmere. From high on the surrounding fellsSilver Howe, Loughrigg or Helm Crag, the view of the lake is absolutely stunning. The village itself has many attractions and it is also the burial place of William Wordsworth. Wordsworth who lived close to the village in Dove Cottage during the years when he wrote his best and most famous poetry. Dove Cottage and Museum are open to the public and make an interesting and enjoyable outing. |
